The Glidermatic GRD™ includes everything to convert a Roller
Door to automatic remote control. A powerful motor  and drive
unit with a manual or automatic operation selector, a Glide·a·Code® radio
transmitter handset to
operate your door from inside the car and a wall control mounted inside the garage
containing a radio receiver, sophisticated electronics, an automatic light and
a push button control for door operation inside the garage.
The Glidermatic GRD™ can be supplied
as a complete automatic door or as a separate operator
which converts existing manual Roller Doors to automatic remote
control. Installation to an existing Roller Door is quick and easily
done in a matter of minutes. |

Gliderol doors are built from galvanised steel to a substantial thickness of 0.45mm and sealed with a plastisol coating and the additional strength gained from the unique broadline profile and aluminium bottom rail is unrivalled. Gliderol roller doors also reduce the drafts in your garage compared to standard 'up and over' doors as they have with weather seals across the base of the door and a tight fit in the guides
SPACE SAVING DESIGN
Unlike an 'up and over' garage door a Gliderol door rolls up vertically and consequently doesn't swing out in front of the garage. This means you can park right up to the door and benefit from more hanging space in the roof of the garage
LOW MAINTENANCE
All Gliderol roller doors are designed to offer years of trouble free operation and generally require minimal maintenance. Manually operated roller doors should operate freely in either the opening or closing direction.
TOUGH LONG LASTING DURABILITY
Gliderol doors are built from galvanised steel to a substantial thickness of 0.45mm and sealed with a plastisol coating . In certain conditions dust and dirt may build up on the surface profile of the door. This can be removed by wiping the door with a wet sponge or cloth taking care to rinse the sponge or cloth frequently to remove any dirt particles from the surface |

Gliderol roller doors are available in a variety of widths up to 5m wide and 3m high. Because the curtain sits behind the brickwork, they are ideal for arched and unusual garage openings.
Requiring no frame, installation is easy and provides the maximum possible garage door opening width, even for the wider vehicle.
Whilst manual doors can be easily converted to automatic later, there is a significant cost saving if the unit is factory-fitted at the outset
Glidermatic doors require an extra 20mm side clearance on the side the drive unit is required to be fitted.
